There is a special place in our hearts for intimate elopements! Alisa and Noah traveled all the way from Utah to say “I do” with the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean of Big Sur. Big Sur is known for the expansive Highway 1 and the rocky bluffs and hidden beaches. Alisa and Noah reached out to us and explained they wanted a quiet intimate ceremony. We love big weddings, however, there is something that is so sweet about marrying your person and making the day only about yourselves.
Noah’s grandparents live in Monterey and as a kid, he would come to visit. We found out that nature and the outdoors was where they felt at home and loved, so we agreed that Point Lobos would be a good location for them to say their “I dos”.
The ceremony was at Point Lobos and finished at Garrapata State Park for portraits. Garrapata State Park is one of our favorite places to do portraits, the coastline and cliffs make for a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos. That Wednesday was perfect weather because it was overcast and the breeze from the ocean kept us cool.
If you are considering Big Sur for your elopement or wedding reach out to us and we would be happy to talk details to plan and document your day. The photos below are some of our favorites!
